Our adoption process begins with a questionnaire.

The questionnaire can be filled out at the Chino Hills Petsmart store or The Orphanage on Saturdays during adoption hours or it can be sent to you by e-mail.

Once the questionnaire has been completed and returned to us, we may conduct an informal interview to start the review process. We may also need to contact you to clarify an answer given.

The review process may take a day or two, but our goal is to match the cat or kitten to a home. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know if the questionnaire has been approved or disapproved.

Once the questionnaire is approved, we will contact you and arrange a time to meet at Petsmart or The Orphanage to complete the adoption process. This includes our Adoption Contract and a Petsmart Release form. Medical documentation will be provided to you for your records.
